Getting To Alona Beach
With the opening of Bohol’s new international airport, there will no longer be long lay overs/connecting flights from Manila or Cebu, starting in the first quater of 2019 Interneational flights will open up from several Asia connecting countires.
in the mean time if you fly through Manila you can take direct flight to the new Panglao AIrport, where Alona beach (where scuba diving at its finest begins) is conveniently located 5 mins away from the international airport by private van.

Any travel agent can book you a ticket once you get to one of the origin cities, most company have multiple ferries leave from 7 am to 10 pm some every hour.

Vehicle Ferries to Bohol
You can reach Bohol by via a Vehicle ferry from Cebu City, Dumaguete City and Caguayan de Oro. Click on any Ferry link to check out the latest schedule and prices for each ferry. Prices range from 600 pesos and up for motorcycles and 2,500 pesos for cars whis includes one passenger ticket for the driver, other seats will be in 200 pesos and up range.
Depending on the speed of the ferry and the class of travel seat prices can varry a lot. Booking a ticket is a little more complicated you will need to visit the main office of the ferry company in the city of origin, most company have multiple ferries every 6 hous 24 hours a day. It is about a 2 hour drive from Tubigon or Jagna to Alona Beach.
